Ellisembia acicularia sp. nov. and four new records of freshwater hyphomycetes from streams in the Alishan area, Chiayi County, Taiwan

摘要

This paper represents the partial results of an investigation on fungal diversity associated with decaying culms of Miscanthus floridulus (Poaceae) from freshwater streams in Alishan area, Chiayi County, Taiwan, carried out during the years 2016 and 2017. Ellisembia acicularia producing straight needle-like conidia is described as a new species. Four other hyphomycetes, Dicty-ochaeta tumidoseta, Exserticlava triseptata, Kostermansinda magna, and Nawawia dendroidea, which represent new records for Taiwan, are described and illustrated.
