250 MILLION DOLLAR ADN PROJECT ENTERS FINAL DESIGN PHASE

Victoria/USA (KBR) - In- vista announced that it is entering the final design phase for a US $250million project at its Victoria site to upgrade its manufacturing technology and increase production of ad-iponitrile (ADN), a key ingredient for nylon 6,6fibers and plastics. With this project, the company wants to strengthen the site's competitive position as a global leader in the manufacturing of nylon intermediate chemicals, states Bill Greenfield, president of Invista Intermediates.
