It is with pleasure that I report on the activities of the Coatings Group at its forum during the ACA Corrosion and Prevention 2006 Conference. The forum was conducted over the best part of six hours and was attended by more than 60 participants. Chairman Robert de Graaf opened the forum with an overview of the coatings and related papers presented at the conference and a challenge to the participants to take the opportunity to discuss topics presented at the conference in more detail, but also to have a frank discussion of the more practical, that is less theoretical aspects of coatings and their application.
