Shipments are still running 33% aheadof last year but it looks like imports are slowlydecreasing. As we’ve repeated several timesin this Report, as of June 1 there is no escapefrom tariffs or quota restrictions for the importsupply into the U.S. It appears the domesticindustry is responding. Based on estimates,domestic shipments were up in May ascompared to April but fell just short of theMarch total.
