We are working to replace the EIA (Energy Information Administration) completion datawith our new “Wells Completed” summary. Our data is more current and a better benchmark foraccessing the supply and service markets. These statistics cover only new drill (original wellbore) wells, not re-entries or multiple zone completions reported as separate wells. All datawere extracted from original oil and gas well completion records filed with the appropriate Stateregulatory agency in the month indicated.
