Imports, year-to-date through November, were down 13% (-1,056,578 tons) from the 2017 level.Exports for this same period were down 9% (-111,000 tons). The balance of trade by commodityyear-to-date through November showed imports of All Pipe & Tube products exceeded exports by6.3 to 1. The trade ratio year-to-date through October of the individual commodities was (importnumber given first): OCTG – 8.9 to 1; Line Pipe – 15.3 to 1; Standard Pipe – 2.5 to 1; MechanicalTube – 4.7 to 1; Structural Pipe & Tube – 3.0 to 1; Pressure Tube - export numbers are incomplete;Stainless Pipe & Tube – 4.0 to 1.
