Before horizontal drilling andcompletion costs became 60% or so of the costof the well, drilled but uncompleted wells werecertainly not in the oilfield consciousness. We,and others, have written about the inventory ofready to complete wells that was being createdand what the likely effect would be in terms ofnew drilling. Our position was and is that new drilling would likely be delayed as DUCinventory was liquidated. The issue at theforefront was more about oil production thanabout OCTG because most of the OCTG isinstalled in the drilling process.
