Brazil's reduction of duty on imports of the herbicide, glyphosate, from China will have a "limited" effect on Chinese companies in the short term, but the outlook is positive in the long run, reports the Chinese national newspaper, Securities Times. Brazil cut glyphosate duty on imports from China from 2.9% to 2.1% earlier this month, following two tariff cuts last year (Agrow No 561, p 13).
