IP sells China foodservice business to Huhtamaki

International Paper (IP) has signed a definitive agreement to sell its foodservice business in China to Huhtamaki Hong Kong for Euro 15 million ($17 million). The business is comprised of two plants, in Shanghai and Tianjin. Output includes paper cups and food, snack, and ice cream containers. According to Huhtamaki. the transaction is expected to be finalized within two months.
