Indian trade authorities open anti-dumping investigation into wide range of newsprint imports

The Indian Department of Commerce (DOC) has initiated an antidumping investigation into newsprint imports from Australia, Canada, the European Union (EU), Hong Kong, Russia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. The investigation was announcedJanuary20, after the directorate found prima facie evidence of dumping and injury to the domestic Indian newsprint production industry.
