Effect of Pharmaceutical Effluent on Morphological and Biochemical Parameters in Vigna radiata (Linn).

摘要

Present work has been carried out to study the effect of pharmaceutical effluent in leguminous plant Vigna radiata Linn, at morphological and biochemical level. The parameters studied were shoot and root length, fresh and dry weight and moisture content. The biochemical parameters studied were, carbohydrate and proteins content. Cyto-logical study was conducted to study the effect of effluent on chromosome structure. An analysis on productivity also has been performed and results obtained are discussed in the present publication.
