Impact of Distillery Spentwash on Growth, Yield and Quality of Bhendi (Abelmoschus esculentus) on Alfisol

摘要

A pot culture experiment was conducted during the period of Jan-May 2003 in order to study the impact of the distillery spentwash on growth, yield and quality parameters of Bhendi Abelmdschus esculentus (L) Moencn var Arka Anamika and the results showed that 50 times diluted effluent followed by 25 times dilution+50% GR are significantly increased the yield and also the quality parameters like ascorbic acid, crude protein, crude fibre content. It increases the nutrient uptake and enhanced the fertility status of the soil.
