PE: The C2 reference for October rose slightly, but European PE producers were seldom able to push through hikes. There were minor reductions in some segments. New import sources from North America are impacting some low-pressure grades. The EVA situation seems to be easing after a long period of shortage. The November C2 reference was fixed slightly down, and only LDPE producers seem to have any prospect of consolidating prices. Many grades are likely to roll over, and those affected by imports could slip.
