The Russian polymers market was calmer again in October. After the previous month's low availability and price rises, the air got thinner at higher altitudes. This was because several plants restarted following maintenance stoppages. At the end of October, not much remained of the price increases that had been pushed through for most standard plastics at the start of the month, PIE's cooperation partner Plastinfo (Moscow / Russia; www.plastinfo.ru) reports.
