An attempt was. made to assess combining ability status of twelve potential rabi sorghum genotypes by involving them in a (4x12)L x T analysis under three environments. Based on pooled score values RLG 112 and RSV 34 R were found to be the best combines over both the environments. For early flowering traits, 104A, SPV 1315 and SPV 727 were found to be good combiners. The pattern of differences in combining ability effects remained same across the environments.
