The company was started in 1950 by seven cofounders, including Robert Kittredge, who eventually became sole owner and chairman of the board. His sons Rob and John are senior managers. Headquartered in Kalamazoo, F-K also has thermoforming plants in Hazleton, Pa., and Greenville, S.C., as well as a printing shop in Mountain Top, Pa. F-K makes custom and stock cups, bowls, containers, lids, and trays from PP, PS, PET, HDPE, and PLA. Revenues are around $220 million and total employment about 800.
