FeRC backs MVP southgate, pipe expansions for Calcasieu Pass, other projects

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved significant natural gas transportation projects at its June meeting, including a 73-mile extension of the Mountain Valley Pipeline natural gas mainline, an expansion of the Portland Natural Gas Transmission system in New England, and two pipeline expansions that will serve Venture Global LNG’s Calcasieu Pass LNG export terminal in Louisiana.
