Pa. gas output ramps up by 3.8% in Q2 2017

Natural gas production in Pennsylvania increased to about 1.32 Tcf (14.29 Bcf/d) in the second quarter of 2017, up 3.8% compared with Q2 2016, while the number of producing wells grew to 7,853, up 7.5% from the year-ago period, according to a report released by the state Independent Fiscal Office, using Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection data.
