Worlee-Chemie is naturally experiencing substantial and wide-ranging effects stemming from REACH. While it is already leading to a notable increase in administrative load and related costs for the company, this regulation is also having considerable influence on new product development or entire product lines. This is particularly significant in the case of amine adduct hardeners for epoxy resins. Approximately two years ago, Worlee chosed to re-enter the field of construction chemistry, One result of this decision foresaw the establishment of a range of products in the area of amine hardeners for epoxy resins. This has taken place, however, in such a manner that registration of the new product portfolio within the framework of REACH is not required.
