Polyurethane crosslinker for internal mood coatings applications

Waterborne 2-pack PUR coatings are among the preferred coatings systems in the industrial paint industry. This is also confirmed for wood- and parquet coatings. These systems are in line with the usual VOC-regulations. For faster drying and improved blocking and stacking resistances blends of HDI- and IPDI-derivatives are used. An appropriate adjustment of the blend ratio of these derivatives allows to accelerate the physical drying without making the film brittle.
