摘要

Distribution pattern of Cyanophyceae was studied from Godavari river at Nashik. Five sampling sites were selected for collection of water samples and analysed at monthly intervals for physico-chemical parameters and Cyanophycean studies. In all, 17 genera and 27 species of Cyanophycean forms were encountered during study period with seasonal fluctuation at all five sampling stations. The flora was found to be abundant during summer, declined during monsoon and again increased during winter season. Some physico-chemical parameters showed higher values which favour the growth and development of Cyanophyceae members.
