Supplementing Wien's Law with a measure of spectral breadth

An expression is developed for characterizing the range of wavelengths over which the bulk of the power emitted by a luminous object is distributed. The expression has exactly the same form as Wien's displacement law; by presenting the two together, students can gain a fuller appreciation of the nature of the Planck function.
