The sharp fall in oil prices since June has put almost $1 trillion of future upstream projects at risk, US bank Goldman Sachs says. More than twothirds of the world’s 400 largest oil and gas project developments are unprofitable at $70/bl, many of them still awaiting a final investment decision, it says.
