Adnoc and OMV sign exploration deal

Abu Dhabi’s state-owned Adnoc and Austrian integrated oil and gas com- pany OMV signed a partnership agree- ment on 23 June for the joint explora- tion of the onshore eastern region of Abu Dhabi. The exploration agreement with OMV’s UAE-based subsidiary OMV East Abu Dhabi Exploration is for four years and will consist of seis- mic acquisition and the drilling of exploration wells.
