The Ukrainian government has postponed the planned liberalisation of household gas prices by one month, to 1 October. The end of domestic price regulation was initially scheduled for 1 April 2017, but has been delayed several times. The postponement extends state-owned Naftogaz’s obligation to supply protected customers — including households and district heating companies — through local gas distributors at a discounted tariff.
