Washington has imposed new sanctions on Moscow that could target Russian oil exports to the US. Crude and product supplies could be hit from 22 November under the second round of US measures announced on 8 August. The frst round, which enters into force on 22 August, is in response to the March nerve agent attack in Salisbury in the UK targeting a former Russian spy, the US State Department says. The US administration says Moscow is responsible - a determination that triggered mandatory sanctions under the US Chemical and Biological Weapon Control Act.
