US output surge ends price rally

Record US crude output and expectations that Opec and its non-Opec allies will increase production in the second half of this year weighed on prices. Atlantic basin benchmark North Sea Dated fell to $75.30/bl in the week to 7 June, down by $1.60/bl. US marker WTI fell to $65.95/bl, down by $1.09/bl, while Mideast Gulf marker Dubai fell by $1.07/bl to $74.70/bl.
