摘要

US oil and natural gas producers are gradually restoring onshore output as Hurricane Harvey and its ensuing floods largely spared most drilling equipment and assets from devastating damage. Harvey put US shale producers to the test, as the strongest weather system to hit the industry since the unconventional sector boom began at the turn of the decade. The biggest onshore basins in the path of Harvey was Texas' Eagle Ford, where output in August was 1.4mn b/d. Many operators in the basin - including ConocoPhillips, Marathon Oil, Pioneer Natural Resources and Sanchez Energy - had pared back operations as Harvey made landfall and moved onshore.
