Sparked from a conversation about manufacturer-owned storefronts and concern for the future of independent paint and decorating retailers, ALLPRO Corp. was born with an identity intertwined with that of the locally owned business. Fifty-seven years later, ALLPRO continues to be a champion for its members. Established in 1960 as the industry's first buying cooperative, ALLPRO currently has 280 members representing more than 1,900 retail locations. While the primary advantage of being an ALLPRO member is improved buying power, other advantages include centralized billing, marketing support, networking opportunities and professional training. The group also has made inroads in procuring lower health insurance rates for its members.
