If it's the month of May, it's time to paint and decorate, I'm not selling anything, by the way, but Mother Nature sort of is. Because at 6:45 p.m. EDT, on March 20, 2016, the sun was direcdy above the Earth's equator, kicking off the Northern Hemisphere's spring season. In honor of this year's cycle of growth, we take a look at a couple of product categories that no painter can ignore: tape and masking products ("Tape, Tape and More Tape," p. 32) and safety products ("Comfortably Safe," p. 39). We also acknowledge the enormous expense of lives lost and money spent in the continuing saga of lead paint. ("The Verdict on Lead," p. 47).
