Acolorful windmill flashes on the refurbished antique neon sign that hangs on Miller Paint's flagship store on Grand Avenue in Portland,Oregon.The unusual logo was adopted in the 1930s by Miller Paints,an employee-owned company with 56 stores throughout Oregon,Washington and Idaho,that was founded in 1890 by muralist and housepainter Ernest Miller.
