摘要

Background: Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is associated with pathological changes of cerebral beta-amyloid dynamics. Orexin has been demonstrated interfering with beta-amyloid metabolism in Alzheimer's Disease (AD) pathology. The present study investigated cerebrospinal-fluid (CSF) beta-amyloid(40) (A beta(40)), beta-amyloid(42) (A beta(42)) and orexin levels in OSA patients compared to AD patients and controls.
