Introduction

This Product Profiler introduces ZULRESSO, an injection for intravenous use in the treatment of postpartum depression (PPD) in adults. ZULRESSO was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on March 19,2019. The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) completed regulatory status review and placed ZULRESSO in Schedule IV of the Controlled Substances Act through an interim final rule effective June 17, 2019.
