Spectroscopy in Real-World Applications: Current Trends in ICP-MS, Raman, NIR, LIBS, and XRF

During the past year, Spectroscopy examined trends and advances in spectroscopic methods including inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), Raman spectroscopy, infrared (IR) and near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy. Here, we present discussions of these techniques and their application in biology and disease research, industrial quality control, pharmaceutical development, and more.
