Golf courses are under increasing pressure to reduce water use and apply water efficiently. Water costs are rising in most areas of the USA and water supplies are becoming increasingly unpredictable, making golf facilities eager to adopt new technologies that allow for more efficient water application while retaining golf course aesthetics and payability. Subsurface drip irrigation is one such technology that has been under-utilised in the golf industry but is showing tremendous promise.
