Production of Hexahedral Pipe Blanksfrom Centrifugafly Cast 04X14T3P1Ф (CУ82) Steel Billetfor the Nuclear Industry

Anew production technology for centrifugally cast 04X14T3P1Фboron-steel has been developed, in addition, technology has been developed for the production of hot-rolled 290× 12 mm pipe from such blanks on a TPU 8-16" system with Pilger mills and for the conversion of such pipe to hexahedral pipe blanks (dimensions 257 +2/-3 ×6 +2/-1 ×4300 +80/-30 mm). The hexahedral pipe blanks produced by this means meet the requirements on the geometric dimensions, mechanical properties, and intercrystallite cor-rosion in Technical Specifications TU 14-3-1630-89 for the manufacture of racks used in holding tanks at nuclear power plants and in spent-fuel transportation.
