Acerinox is set to acquire VDM Metals Group from private investment firm, Lindsay Goldberg Vogel, in a deal worth €532 million. VDM Metals Group is a producer of specialist stainless and nickel-alloy steels, based in Werdohl, Germany. The agreement is expected to be finalised late in the first quarter of 2020, subject to regulatory approval. Aperam had previously been linked with this purchase, before the sale fell through, earlier this year.
