The Donald B.Rice Tire Co.Inc.,which does business as Rice Tire.,has acquired Central Tire Co.of Verona,Va.Central Tire was founded by Guy Westhafer in 1945.The company has been run by his sons,Terry and Tommy,for the last four decades.Central Tire served customers in Virginia and parts of Pennsylvania,North Carolina,Washington,D.C.,and West Virginia through a retail store,commercial store and retread plant.
