ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

As part of our first UK Digital Leaders Study, BearingPoint has assessed 72 companies in the UK, across 10 industries, to assess their level of digital maturity. Included in this study is the UK Logistics industry and selected companies within. Julian Mosquera, director, BearingPoint. Using a rigorous scoring system, we assessed selected logistics companies within the UK against six digital dimensions; digital marketing, digital product experience, e-CRM, e-commerce, mobile, and social media. By analysing these dimensions, we have been able to recognise and establish an understanding of the level of digital maturity in the sector, and more specifically each firm's digital presence and areas for development, as well as appraising their strengths as a means of recognition for other firms to follow.
