Damian Alexander is the vice president and managing director for the Leidos UK Logistics Division. He is also the programme director for a ￡6.5bn Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation (LCS(T)) programme with the UK Ministry of Defence. SHD Logistics (SHD): Damian can you tell us a bit about your career so far? Damian Alexander (DA): I spent 27 years in the Air Force working in different areas of logistics and defence. Although I was in the Air Force, I worked within the Army, Navy and Royal Marines because the supply chain in defence is a joint capability. I gained great experience working in the back-end close to procurement, the front-end close to operations and the top-end in terms of strategic policy and direct operations.
