JAMES CLARK, SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE BRITISH INDUSTRIAL TRUCK ASSOCIATION (BITA), LOOKS BACK AT THE RECENT TALENT IN LOGISTICS EVENT AND HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF FORK LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR TRAINING, It was extremely enlightening to spend a day attending the Talent in Logistics conference and awards in Telford last month. As well as hosting the finals of the now annual Forklift Operator of the Year and Forklift Instructor of the Year competitions, the event encompassed an awful lot of things that were very relevant to today's industry, covering areas such as mental health, leadership, workforce diversity, the Apprenticeship Levy, operator training and - of course - Brexit.
