The market has evolved beyond the awareness phase, with 73% now reasonably familiar with the technology, according to research undertaken by Sapio Research, on behalf of Jungheinrich UK. The following white paper report discusses the results and implications. The speed with which organisations are embracing the concept of Lithium-Ion (LI) technology is impressive. Over 25% of those surveyed have now evaluated or acquired Lithium powered trucks; while 49% are considering switching from diesel/LPG to electric-powered trucks.
