SHD Logistics finds out from analytics provider, Zizo, why Artificial Intelligence might not necessarily provide a 'quick fix' for the logistics industry. The trend towards logistic organisations wanting to adopt automation, robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help transform their business continues to gain momentum. However, there seems to be a belief that if they can access 'super computers' and throw vast amounts of investment into them, these machines will be able to intuitively interpret their data and give them answers, which humans cannot do, but this is not the case. A computer that can provide meaningful and fresh insight on data and which never needs human intervention or updating, for now, only exists on Star Trek.
