摘要

We refer to the conclusion by Katz et al.1 that, regardless of increased testing frequency, replacement of clinic-based HIV testing by home testing will result in substantial increases in HIV incidence and prevalence among men who have sex with men (MSM) in Seattle. While acknowledging the importance and quality of their work in this area, we believe the analysis outcome may have been affected by the following characteristics of the model used.
