Council and Parliament accept CAP reform 'delegated acts' proposals

EU member states and MEPs have accepted the the delegated acts for the 2014-2020 CAP, with agriculture ministers agreeing not to oppose the implementing plans and the European Parliament following suit.Agriculture ministers decided not to reject any of the acts in a Farm Council meeting last week (April 14) and no objections were raised by the Parliament plenary in Strasbourg either.A set of delegated acts were adopted by the European Commission in mid-March, allowing it to supplement or amend 'nonessential' elements of the political agreements in order to clarify implementation details at farm level.
