摘要

Ultra-thin chemically strengthened glasses showed enough flexibility for foldable devices. Soda lime glass of 0.2 mm manufactured by float process. Almino-silicate glass of 0.07 mm in thickness processed by HF slimming with 940 MPa and 14 μm of DOL achieved 5.6 mm gap distance by two plate bending and over 60,000 times of cyclic bending. Design guideline of chemical strengthening for flexible cover applications is that CS should be higher as possible for bending and impact strength and DOL may be deeper considering DOL limitation and fragmentation threshold for damage resistance.
