Consideration of Display Metrology for HDR and WCG Standards Based on Real Content

摘要

Both High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) require not only improvement of displays but also development of novel display metrology. In this paper, we took a look at how HDR and WCG standards going on and examine features of new image format. In conclusion, we suggested some perspectives and ideas based on the standards and the analysis result of HDR and WCG images that would be worthy of consideration on developing a new display metrology.
