Two NSTA Kids books are out of this world-literally. On August 14, Next Time You See a Sunset (by Emily Morgan) and Notable Notebooks: Scientists and Their Writings (by Jessica Fries-Gather) were launched on Space X to the International Space Station (ISS). The children's books, along with others with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) themes, will be read by astronauts this fall as part of the Story Time From Space (STFS) program. Astronauts will make video recordings of themselves reading the books, and the videos will appear on www.storytimefromspace.com by the end of the year.
