摘要

This work includes the fabrication, characterization and Technology Computer Aided Design (TCAD) modelling of a single crystal diamond based radiation detector grown by Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) process. The electrical characterization and Ultraviolet (UV) response of the diamond detector have been presented. Numerical simulations are carried out by including the model of native defects for the fabricated single-crystal diamond detector. The models are validated by comparing the simulations with the experimental data. The explanation of the results in terms of the diamond bandgap has also been presented.
