USFS NSL Accredited to Test Forest Tree and Shrub Species

THE USDA FOREST SERVICE, NATIONAL SEED LABORATORY (NSL), in Dry Branch GA, is a long-time member of ISTA and was re-accredited to conduct seed tests on forest tree and shrub species in 2019. The NSL tests tree, shrub and native or wild seed samples for a range of public agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), forest industry, seed companies, universities, botanical gardens, private landowners and others involved in plant production, landscape-scale restoration projects and long-term seed conservation.
